The Maui Ocean Center's mission is "To foster understanding, wonder and respect for Hawaii's marine life." They accomplish this to a great degree. If you are travelling with children, you absolutely must enjoy one of their exhibits while vacationing here on the island.

Driving directions to Maui Ocean Center:
From Lahaina: Take Hwy 30 south 1/2 hour - 5 minutes past tunnel, take a right at the light at Maalaea Harbor and enter the aquarium lot.
From Kihei: Drive north to Hwy 30 and make a left turn at the light into the aquarium parking lot.
